“我從草原來” “I Come from Grassland” 2017 Art Exhibition by China Mongolian Artist Lo Shi Shan-Bu will open from 2nd to 7th November 2017 at Visual Arts Centre.
The official opening of the exhibition will be on 3rd November, 2017, Friday at 6:30PM.
Guest-of-Honor Mr. Que Xiao Hua, the Cultural Counselor Embassy of The People’s Republic of China, Singapore, will be gracing the exhibition opening.
若希桑布先生,蒙古族,1947年生于内蒙古科左中旗,内蒙古政府文史研究馆馆员,研究员,一级美术师。1982年就读与天津美术学院,师从霍春阳、韩文来、王麦秆等先生。中国美术家协会北京分会会员。现任中国书画家联谊会常务理事、《中国书画家报》艺术总监、北京劲草堂文化艺术发展有限公司艺术总监。

Our Foundation in Digital Art workshop invites budding creatives aged nine and above to unleash their imagination and hone their artistic skills in a dynamic, supportive environment. From mastering basic digital tools to crafting mesmerizing digital masterpieces, children will explore a spectrum of techniques guided by seasoned mentors. Through hands-on activities and interactive sessions, participants will discover the endless possibilities of digital expression while fostering creativity and critical thinking. Join us for an exhilarating adventure where young artists transform ideas into stunning visual realities, igniting a passion for digital art
In the Batik Introduction Handkerchief Painting workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of batik, a wax-resist dyeing technique originating from Indonesia. The workshop begins with a brief history and overview of batik, highlighting its cultural significance and various techniques. Participants will then observe a demonstration of applying wax with tjanting tools and dyeing the fabric. Following the demonstration, each participant will design and create their own batik handkerchief, applying wax to create patterns and then dyeing their fabric. The workshop concludes with a group discussion, allowing participants to share their creations and reflect on their learning experience.
