Inkquisitive
COLOUR OUTSIDE THE LINES
Synopsis
After 5 years, Amandeep Singh better known with his artist name “Inkquisitive” brings his new artwork to Singapore as he sets to embark on his 22nd Exhibition in 2022 titled Colour Outside The Lines.
With each of Inkquisitive’s exhibitions having a very creative but meaningful name, Colour Outside The Lines challenges the idea of living in a world where you have to be creatively safe and not allowing the rules and not allowing the rules and regulations of societal views to have a hold on our ability to create freely.
As children, we are taught to colour inside the lines of colouring books ensuring our finished pieces are nothing short of perfect and as asked of. However, Inkquisitive (through his new artworks) brings a refreshing take on the beauty of creating art through doing the oppposite. Finding beauty in the mystery of uncontrolled creativity and a pinch of courage.
Colour Outside The Lines feature themes of religion, nature and scenic visual beauty. Each of which have Inkquisitive’ signature style alongside his ability to allow the viewer to engage and find meaning from hidden elements
